Latest grants announced - $299,631 donated

The Auckland Airport Community Trust has donated over $299,631 to worthy local community projects in its 2018 funding round.

This year’s distributions take the total figure the Trust has donated to over $4 million, an impressive figure that has seen over 47 different local organisations receive grants to help them achieve their aspirations for the benefit of their community.

Noel Robinson, Auckland Airport Community Trust chairman, says the Trust received a record number of applications for the grants this year, meaning the decision to choose the successful recipients was a difficult one.

“Our number one priority is to see the funding provide the best possible results for the community and we therefore dedicate a lot of time to determining who should receive the grants,” says Mr Robinson.

“We have seen the very positive impact that grants from the Auckland Airport Community Trust have had in the community over the years and, with the quality of applications we received this year, we are very confident that the 2018 recipients will achieve wonderful and worthwhile outcomes within the community as well.”

This year 14 fantastic organisations were chosen to receive an Auckland Airport Community Trust grant.
