2017 funding round now open!

The Auckland Airport Community Trust’s annual community granting round is once again open for applications.

As with previous years, the Trust’s funding priorities continue to be in the areas of improving literacy, and supporting and developing life skills in the Airport’s Area of Benefit

The Trust has awarded more than $3.4 million in grants since it was established in 2003. Trust Chair Noel Robinson says that supporting communities to thrive and grow is at the heart of the Trust’s granting.

“We’ve chosen to concentrate our funding efforts on initiatives that support learning outcomes for children, young people and families, as we believe this is vital for a healthy, happy and thriving community.”

“Since the Trust started making its annual grants, we’ve seen some amazing groups doing innovative and inspiring work,” Mr Robinson says. “To know that we’ve helped them to make a positive impact in their communities is an incredible privilege.”

To be eligible, your project or programme must benefit people living in Auckland Airport’s Area of Benefit. If you are unsure, you can check the map here. You can also read the Trust's funding criteria and the guidance notes for reference.

You can download a copy of the application form here. Applications close 5pm, Friday 30 June, and the successful applicants will be notified in September.

If you have any questions you can call (09) 366 1523.

Good luck!
